Schott & Meissner, headquartered in Blaufelden, Germany, was chosen as the supplier for lamination and consolidation equipment to Unisol Membrane Technology, further solidifying their longstanding and trusted business relationship. Unisol is a global leader in water and wastewater treatment. The company offers its filtration products in a modular design, enabling the retrofitting of existing systems where space and capacity limits have been reached. With its membrane products, Unisol helps ensure the sustainable use of the finite resource of water for future generations. Schott & Meissner is an expert for heat treatment equipment used in the composite and nonwoven industry. The Thermofix series, with its electrical or oil heated belt press systems, is a growing market. Besides that, thermobonding, drying and impregnation machinery together with high-automatized end of line equipment is part of their scope. As the preferred machinery supplier for Unisol Membrane Technology, Schott & Meissner continues to play a crucial role in supporting the growing demand for high-quality products. The electrical heated flatbed laminator – Thermofix TFE is the key unit for manufacturing their Mytex membrane units. Technical parameters such as homogenous temperature distribution and excellent thickness calibration are, besides the energy efficient heat transfer and high system availability, key parameters for the high product quality of the final product. “We are proud to remain the preferred partner for Unisol, and we are excited to be part of their continued growth in China,” says Michael Stalla, sales director of S&M. “This latest project is a testament to the strong collaboration between our teams and our shared commitment to excellence.” With increasing demand for innovative products, both companies are working hand in hand to meet the needs of their end customers and remain at the forefront of their industries.
